Searching for a cleaning service near me?
New Sparkles Cleaning service is here to help for you Fall cleaning needs. Like most people here in Florida, we're preparing for relatives coming down for the holiday season. That means decorations, lots of extra grocery shopping-- and oh so much cleaning. We're hoping we can provide a little help and insight with family coming down to stay out of the cold, and provide you with some quality tips and service.
A couple of years ago when I was doing some Fall cleaning, I was having trouble going through my supplies when going throughout the house and scrubbing anything and everything I could find with an ounce of dirt. At the time I had just gotten my own home and having family come down south for the holidays meant I couldn't really spend the money on getting bottle after bottle of glass cleaner until I didn't have enough money for the turkey. At the time, I didn't really have any fast solutions, but I did learn my lesson-- have a cheaper and easy alternative on hand! What I found after scouring the internet a bit was this recipe from Wellness Mama, and found it to be the best home-made solution for me. Now I do have to warn you that the solution includes borax, which some find to be unsafe for small children, but the science is still out. Also, this is NOT the mixture used by New Sparkles' cleaning teams. This is just something to help you through the holidays until you're looking for something quick, easy and professional.
All-Purpose Cleaner Ingredients
- 1 tsp borax
- 1/2 tsp washing soda
- 1 tsp liquid castile soap
- essentials oils; 4 drops lemon, 4 drops lavender, 10 drops orange
- glass spray bottle container (in case of plastics break-down)
All-Purpose Cleaner Instructions
- Place borax, washing soda, and soap in a spray bottle (preferably glass).
- Add 2 cups of warm water Distilled is best, but any water that has been boiled will work.
- Add essential oils of choice.
- Cover bottle and shake well. Use as needed. I like to use it as a porcelain (outer toilets and containers), floor, walls, bathroom, and outer oven cleaner.
Fall Cleaning can be hard
While pinching pennies for holiday cleaning is great, the truth of the matter is that most of us have the money--the problem is no one has the time. Running around picking up extra groceries and preparing extra meals, means that you're out picking up extra hours at work and trying to get as much over time as possible. That doesn't mean the holidays only effects those with parents, step-parents, uncles and nephews coming down either. If you're the Matriarch or Patriarch of your family, the physical and emotional stress may not be worth it to do it yourself. During the holiday season, everyone's short on time.
New Sparkles is here to help you save that time for what matters most; family. Make this holiday a great one by working with us to create the atmosphere you want this holiday season for you and yours. Better yet, this year we're running a special for all new customers this season for $10 off your first cleaning.
